Digital and traditional combined

This Piece by Raphaël Lacoste is a combination of C.G.I. with oil painting to make a highly detailed environment. I really like this image because all the detail is very clear even though all the colours are fairly similar. However I think the people in the background should perhaps be a little bit brighter.

This shows a fairly typical approach to 3D rendering as artists will tend to paint their textures

for 3D models. For example in the video game
'Gears of War' ever single texture on the locust
character has been painted. I do like this effect as it is very stylised however I worry that the colours suffer from being a little washed out and dull.

Artists will often edit paintings and photography on Photoshop to enhance its visual style

This is a good example
of photography and clippings which have been scanned into photoshop and made into a collage. I do like collages however I don't think this particular one has been spaced very well and it feals a bit messy. This method could be used in my project to raise awareness of environmental issues by recycling old pictures that I have taken and making them into a relevant collage image.
