At first this started off as a basic walk cycle for a
character I created earlier on in the year but I decided the finished walk cycle didn't have enough character. Instead of starting the walk cycle again, I decided to edit the walk cycle in Vegas to see if I couldn't make it look more convincing. The below video shows the result of my experiment. Using Sony Vegas, I successfully morphed the character's shape and movements. Not only could this help me animate the character but I could also make an entirely new body shape for the character without having to draw any more footage. The effect isn't completely perfect as there is some loss of quality but otherwise it acts as a brilliant quick fix.
